Mr. LI joined Huatai Securities in 2019 and currently serves as a member of both the Solvency Supervision Expert Advisory Committee of China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission and the Life Insurance Interest-Rate Evaluation Committee of the Insurance Association of China. Prior to joining Huatai, he was the Head of China Insurance research and Responsible Officer with a type 4 license at Autonomous Research, a boutique research firm with a notable reputation in the international investment field, specializing in equity and credit research for the global financial industry (including banking, insurance, and fintech). Prior to that, he was an insurance industry analyst at Macquarie Securities in Hong Kong SAR and Standard & Poor’s. From 2002-2005, he worked at the China Insurance Regulatory Commission.
