Jian serves as the Non-bank Financials Lead Analyst in Hong Kong. He joined Huatai in 2019 and has more than ten years of financial market research experience. Prior to Huatai, he was the Head of China Insurance research at Autonomous Research. Prior to that he was an analyst at Macquarie Securities and Standard & Poor’s. Jian also worked for the China insurance regulatory commission.

Jian holds PhD, master’s and bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Renmin University of China.
